The chairman of the Angolan Agency of Insurance Supervision and Regulation (ARSEG), Aguinaldo Jaime, is participating as from Thursday, February 3, in the Second Annual Conference of the African Insurance Organisation, happening in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Speaking to ANGOP before departing last Tuesday, in Luanda’s 4 de Fevereiro International Airport, Aguinaldo Jaime said that in the event he will make a presentation on the theme “Opportunities and challenges in the insurance industry of Angola”.
The Angolan representative is also to participate in the panel that will discuss the topic “Main regulatory trends in African insurance”.
Aguinaldo Jaime explained to journalists that the conference is an excellent opportunity to give information about the efforts being made by public institutions in Angola and ARSEG to create a safe, efficient and credible insurance market in the country, among other aspects.
The conference is scheduled to end on Friday.
