PICTURES: Military Unveils Boko Haram’s Rocket-Making Factory

Nigerian has finally admitted that a rocket producing factory owned and managed by Islamist sect, Boko Haram does exist in Bama, Nigeria after it has initially denied its existence earlier in the month saying the pictures were fake and simply an attempt to cause panic.

The disclosure was made on Monday, November 16, 2015, via the Facebook page of the Nigerian Defence Headquarters.

The post reads:

“Troops of 7 Division Garrison Nigerian Army in Operation LAFIYA DOLE, made a remarkable progress by arresting a Terrorist kingpin, Mr John Trankil, at Kasuwar Shanu in Maiduguri metropolis.”

“Preliminary investigation revealed that 9 terrorists sneaked into the Maiduguri armed with AK 47 assault rifles and a Hilux vehicle laden with 20 Improvised Explosive Devices meant to be detonated at some selected targets in the city.”

“In a related development, troops of 21 Brigade Nigerian Army, while on offensive operations on terrorists location, with the support from the discovered and destroyed the terrorists’ Improvised Explosive Device (IED) and Rocket making factory along Bama-Gonin Kurmi within the outskirts of Bama town, .”
