Nigeria: Dana Aircraft Has Valid Insurance Cover- NAICOM

The National Commission (NAICOM) has assured Nigerians that the Dana MD-83  aircraft which crashed in Lagos on , 2012 has valid cover.

In a statement signed and released  by Mr. Lucky Fiakpa, the Head Corporate Communication,  the commission said all and re- contracts were duly entered into and that seven local were involved in the business. It further added that the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM)  will ensure payment of insurance claims to beneficiaries of the victims of the Dana plane crash.

The commission condoled with the families of those who lost their lives in the ill-fated flight, noting that no amount of money was sufficient to compensate them.
