BREAKING: Court Remands Moro In Kuje Prison Over Job Scam


The sitting in Abuja has ordered that the former Interior Minister, Abba Moro, and two others be remanded in Kuje custody till Wednesday, March 2, pending the hearing of their formal bail application.

Moro was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, , alongside the former Permanent Secretary in the ministry of finance, Anaesthesia Nwaobia, Deputy Director Finance, F.O Alayegbami, for allegedly facilitating the 2014 immigration recruitment scam.

The three accused persons were docked on a 11-count charge before Justice A.I Chikerem, by the over the tragic recruitment scandal, where over 20 applicants lost their lives.

Some of the charges against Moro and his colleagues include: obtaining by false pretense, procurement offences, corrupt practices and .
